JNU Full Form

JNU’s full form is Jawaharlal Nehru University. It is a famous institution. It was established in the year 1966 by an Act of Parliament. This university with its power, energy, prestige and foresight makes the future of students.

Admission To JNU

Notification is issued every year by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) for admission. In the notification, admission start and last date of application and other information are provided.

Admission here is provided by the entrance exam. The entrance exam is organized by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The entrance exam is conducted online by the National Testing Agency.

All the questions in this exam are of objective type. Students who score good in this are given admission in it. There are about 3383 seats in JNU, for this the examination is conducted by NTA. Of these seats, 1043 seats are of MPhil and PhD programs.

This examination is conducted in about 127 cities. If you want to participate in this exam, then according to your address, you are provided with the nearest examination center. Over time the number of students appearing in this exam is increasing.

More About JNU

Many changes have been made in the educational structure of Jawaharlal Nehru University. Till now, narrow concept department is established in universities.

JNU has tried to avoid this. In its place, JNU has built some comprehensive and inclusive units. These units have become centers of research outside the wider structures of the school on allied subjects in their field.

These have been constructed on the basis of teachers’ interest. At present, these centers are divided into thirteen schools and seven special centers in the university.
