What Is The Full Form Of PTO?

Full Form Of PTO

PTO stands for “Please Turn Over”.

It is used to request the reader of a book/notebook/diary etc. to move to the next page. By adding PTO at the bottom of a page, the writer of the document (book, diary etc.) wants you to navigate to the next page as the content is not completed now.

Let’s walk you through a practical scenario to make it clear. Suppose you are writing your exam (say English paper). The page you are writing on has left with no space but your answer is still not completed. So you moved to the next page and completed the answer.

In this case, you can add PTO at the bottom of the page, to let the reader know that the remaining part of the answer is on the next page.
